Information We Collect via FinanceKit
Our app, Eumeris, utilizes Apple’s FinanceKit API to provide real-time insights into your daily spending capacity. With your explicit permission, we may access:
- Transaction history and account balances.
- Financial institution names and account types.
- Transaction metadata (dates, amounts, and merchant categories).
How We Use Your Financial Data
We use the data obtained through FinanceKit solely to:
- Calculate your daily "Safe Spend" limit: By analyzing your current cash balance and upcoming financial obligations, we provide a clear, daily discretionary spending limit.
- Identify potential savings opportunities: By analyzing your historical transaction history, we identify potential savings opportunities.
- Generate monthly spending reports: Combine insights from your financial transactions to generate insightful spending reports.
We do not use your financial data for advertising, marketing, or profiling for any third-party services.
Data Storage and Security
- On-Device Processing: Financial data is always processed locally on your device.
- No Remote Transmission: We do not transmit your personal financial data or transaction history to any remote servers. Your data stays under your control, on your device.
- Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or trade your financial data. Because we do not collect your data on our servers, it is not shared with any third-party service providers.
User Control and Data Retention
- Local Data Management: All financial data is stored locally on your device. You can clear this data at any time by revoking the app's access to FinanceKit or by deleting the app from your device.
- Revoking Access: You can revoke the app’s access to FinanceKit at any time via the iOS Settings app under "Privacy & Security > Financial Health."
- No Account Required: Because we do not use remote servers, we do not maintain a user account for you. Deleting the app will permanently remove all local records of your financial data from your device.
